However, I do not "spoon-feed" you... so you will have to do some homework on your own before "discovering" these waterfalls for yourself.

I got the one printing that is just awful. The bottom half of all the pages are out of phase, showing a red, blue halo over the black. Most of the pages have wrinkles like it did not dry correctly during printing. I would have returned it, but I am just using the book for research; however, not going to make it to the coffee table…..Product details

For many, Taos, New Mexico is the edge of the desert, but to Doug Scott, it is a land of waterfalls. Doug is a famous sculptor and painter in Taos and now he is a author to boot. Much of his life has been spent climbing around the mountains of northern New Mexico discovering these hidden falls, cataracts, water slides and chutes of water coming off the southern end of the Rocky Mountains.
This is a wonderful well printed and presented full color book of these special places created by Mother Nature. Doug tells you about where these falls are but you have to go find them and discover them for yourself. I lived in Taos for a number of years and knew of a few of these falls and was stunned to discover so many in this book.
Pictures are worth thousands of words--so this book speaks loud and clear with its photographs. The actual copy is short and simple on each page and is part of each picture--a unique way of presenting the story. Waterfalls create their own mini-environment of moisture and this creates a lushness in a dry land and is a wildlife magnet. In New Mexico, Water is Life and Doug Scott gives it a whole new dimension in this wonderful book. You can feel the spray and the mist of the falls as you go through the book. A rare gem of a publication today. It will be a great book to own or give as a gift.
